Meet The Doctors

Dr. Leanne Armstrong

Doctor Leanne grew up in Ontario and always had a love of medicine and medical applications. She graduated with a degree in kinesiology from McMaster University and obtained her residency from the University of British Columbia, graduating in 1995.

She worked in obstetrics for many years before heading back into full service general practice, treating patients of all ages. Her caring nature, experience, and insight led her to start a full service public and private practice at Pandosy Village Medical, for those people who are looking for more than just a general walk-in clinic.

Doctor Leanne has 3 kids, two labradors (that may be seen in the clinic from time to time) and is an avid exercise enthusiast, spending her year running, skiing, swimming, snowboarding, and enjoying all the Okanagan Valley has to offer.

Dr. Sarah Riedlinger

Dr. Sarah is excited to offer services in Pediatric Endocrinology at Pandosy Village Medical Clinic starting in June 2023! She grew up in Edmonton, AB, and completed her medical degree at University of Alberta (2015).

Afterwards, she moved to beautiful BC and completed Pediatrics (2020), and a specialization in Endocrinology at BC Children’s Hospital (2023). Dr. Sarah loves all areas of pediatric endocrinology, and is especially passionate about metabolic syndrome and technical advances in diabetes care that is improving outcomes for patients around the world!

While her clinical work will be primarily based out of Kelowna, she will also provide outreach services to promote hormone health throughout the Okanagan. In her spare time, she can be found running after her toddlers in various parks around Kelowna!

Dr. Lizanne Venter

Originally from South Africa, graduating from the University of Stellenbosch in 2004, Dr Venter moved to Alberta in 2008.

She is a Family Physician with a wide range of experiences working as a North Zone Alberta rural frontline physician and physician leader. Her previous experiences in the role of Community Medical Director (Whitecourt), Deputy Zone Medical Director – North Zone, Alberta, Department Head of Emergency Medicine (Fort Saskatchewan Community Hospital, Alberta) and as a Clinical Lecturer with the University of Alberta.

She is also currently appointed as clinical lecturer at the University of British Columbia – Southern Medical Program. She has worked in Emergency Medicine for the most part of her career and most recently, Dr Venter moved back into the family physician role with focus on whole family health. Main interests are providing good quality healthcare while still being fiscally responsible. She believes that patients have an important role to play in ensuring long term health and
wellness. Dr Venter is enjoying all the Okanagan has to offer with her family and 2 labradors.

Meet the Team

Kathy Amorim

Kathy Amorim

Kathy grew up in Ontario and always had a passion for fitness and health. She graduated with an honours degree in Kinesiology from Lakehead University and pursued her Personal Training certification in 2019. In 2021 Kathy moved to Kelowna and obtained her professional Kinesiology Registration.

Kathy specializes in injury management and prevention and focuses on functional movements that will improve your favourite activities of daily living.

In Kathy’s spare time she is likely to be outside hiking or running, cooking a new meal or cozied up reading a good book.

Born and raised in Kelowna, Tekarra joined Pandosy Village Medical in 2020 after completing her Bachelor in Kinesiology. Tekarra is currently in the process of applying to medical school and aspires to pursue a career in Family Medicine.

Outside of the office, Tekarra enjoys travelling and all things active. You can catch her in the spin studio and in the mountains skiing, hiking and biking.

Rosanna

Rosanna was born and raised in the Philippines and moved to Canada in 2010. She graduated with a (BSN) in the Philippines in 1992. She also earned a Medical Office Assistant (MOA) diploma from Vancouver Career College in 2011—and an Advanced Medical Assistant in 2019 from Fraser Valley University.

Rosanna has worked as a Medical Office Assistant for 14 years in various healthcare settings. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and walking her dog.
